Brief Los Angeles Kings Jersey History

When playing at home, the Los Angeles Kings jersey is black. The jersey has emerald blue shoulders and an emerald blue strip around the elbow which has a further silver stripe above and below it. The jersey has a silver trim and the words ‘Los Angeles’ written in silver with emerald blue trim, located at the bottom on the front of the jersey.

The Kings’ emblem is a silver and emerald blue crown with two crossed hockey sticks on the peak of the crown. Their away jersey is white instead of black, but retains the emerald blue shoulders and elbow stripe. The silver stripes are now black and the jersey trim is also black. The name ‘Los Angeles’ on the front is written in emerald blue and has the same emerald blue and silver crown on the chest.

There is a third Los Angeles Kings jersey. It is all black with silver and white trim. The elbows have a white horizontal stripe and a silver vertical stripe which runs along the length of the sleeve. Their crown emblem is shrunken and placed within a black shield with the letter ‘LA’ above in silver. The shield is also outlined in silver.
