One of the most dominant teams of the 1980s were the Edmonton Oilers. With the greatest hockey player in existence, Wayne Gretzky, the Oilers were able to win 5 Stanley Cup’s over a span of 7 years. Many people still believe that the early Oiler teams are still the best ever to be assembled in any sport. With a brand new set of talented players like Jordan Eberle, and Taylor Hall, confidence is coming back to Edmonton. By picking up and wearing an Edmonton Oilers jersey you are showing everyone around you how big of an Oilers fan you really are.

Brief Edmonton Oilers Jersey History
The Edmonton Oilers jersey for home games is blue in color. The shoulders of the jersey are orange and the same orange is used for the bottom of the sleeves. There are also three horizontal stripes of white, orange and white on the bottom of the main body of the shirt and the elbow region of both sleeves. The shirt is trimmed in white. The emblem is a white circle with the word oilers in the middle of the circle and an orange oil drip hanging above the oilers name.
The Edmonton Oilers away jersey is all white in color with a blue trim. The elbow areas of the sleeves have a thick gold stripe framed in thin red stripes and two blue stripes above and below. The emblem is the same as on the home jersey except the white circle is traced in blue and a thinner red outline. The Oilers third option is the same as their road jersey except the white shirt blue trim is replaced by a blue shirt with gold trim.
For practice, the Edmonton Oilers jersey is the same blue color with just a simple white flash on the sides and the oilers emblem on the chest but in a reduced size.
