Brief Detroit Red Wings Jersey History
A Detroit Red Wings jersey comes in two different colors in the same style. One that is primarily white with a red band along the bottom of the jersey and mostly red sleeves with the logo in the center of the chest. The second is primarily red with a white band along the bottom of the jersey and a white stripe on the sleeves and the logo in the center of the chest. The logo for the jerseys is a red and white car tire with a single wing coming out of one side. There are no words on the jersey, keeping the style simple and easy to see.
The red Detroit Red Wings jersey is the style for the team’s home games. The white jersey is the main style for away games, as is common for most hockey teams. The white jersey has red sleeves, where the red jersey does not have white sleeves. This difference in the two jerseys is the only one aside from the reversal of the colors for home and away.
