Brief Calgary Flames Jersey History
There are three versions of the Calgary Flames jersey that are worn. They have a home, away and a third optional jersey. Their home jersey is red in color with the bottom half of the sleeves being black. The jersey is also trimmed with black and with white and gold stripes at the bottom of the jersey. The emblem that is emblazoned on the chest is a black capital C which has flames shooting off the left side of it.
The Flames have a practice jersey which is black in color with silver/gray trim on the sides. The emblem is a smaller version of the C on fire which is also black but is outlined by the same silver/gray trim.
The third option of the Calgary Flames jersey is the mostly same as the others with two color changes. The black half of the sleeves and the emblem are now red, while the main color of the shirt is white. This third jersey is a slightly darker red than the home jersey. The emblem of the C on fire is white instead of black and there are three stripes on the bottom of the jersey and each sleeve. The stripes are gold, white and gold again.
