Andrew Ladd was originally drafted to the Carolina Hurricanes in the 2004 NHL draft. During that time he helped the Hurricanes to win their first Stanley Cup championship during their 2005-2006 season. In 2008 Ludd was traded to the Chicago Blackhawks where he was able to score a second Stanley Cup championship and score his first NHL hat trick. In July 2011, Ladd was finally moved to the Winnipeg Jets where he was named a team captain.
